About NK Art Advisory
NK Art Advisory is a contemporary art advisory company, offering art advisory and cultural strategy development services. Based in Dubai and founded in 2023 by Art Historian and Consultant Nicole Kanne, its mission is to empower individuals, companies, and cultural institutions by creating inspiring art experiences and building long-lasting assets through informed and strategic advisory.
With a strong focus on the burgeoning art scenes in the Gulf, the Advisory’s services include the development of collecting strategies and sourcing artworks for acquisition, overseeing and managing commissions, providing bespoke curatorial services, and developing cultural strategies, programming, and content.
Harnessing the transformative power of art, NK Art Advisory aims to create enriching cultural experiences, amplify individual and institutional narratives, spark conversations that transcend disciplines and cultures, and elevate spaces to become platforms of dialogue and inspiration.
Meet Nicole
Nicole Kanne is a Dubai-based Art Historian and Consultant with a longstanding passion for the ambition, dynamism, and multiculturalism of the cultural landscapes in the Gulf.
She began her career in 2013 at a London-based cultural communications consultancy, where she was able to expand her knowledge on the transformative power of communications to help shape narratives and create cross-cultural dialogues.
Following her growing interest in non-Western art scenes, she relocated to Dubai in 2016, where she initially continued her work in cultural communications, including at Art Dubai and Brunswick Arts, before becoming an independent Consultant in 2021 and moving on to establish NK Art Advisory in 2023.
Drawing on an educational background in History of Art and Museum Studies, including a Diploma in Museum Studies from the École du Louvre and a Master’s Degree in History of Art from the University of Cambridge, as well as more than 10 years’ experience in the UK and UAE art scenes, Nicole is able to provide industry-relevant and culturally responsive consultancy on a variety of projects.
